worth the money
While I'm not audio expert, I do edit video for a living.
These headphones are fairly well made. The plastic is hard and seems durable. The padding is comfortable and the cord is strong and reinforced with an outer spring coil for added flex without strain to the jack.
As for sound quality, they are a bit bass heavy but otherwise fairly balanced. With the right eq and enough power running them they are a fine pair of headphones. The sound is crisp and clear, detail is easy to pick up and they work well right out the box. I saw minimal difference after a 20hr burn in.
If you are looking for a flat sound but are unfamiliar with eqs or are looking to run them off an un-amped mp3 player, I'd stay away from these.
If running from an mp3 or pmp, make sure you have portable amp, a good one. I haven't tried them with a fiio but I doubt it would do the trick, I'm using a jds labs cmoy and its great.
If you like bass or know your way around the eq then these are a great buy.
