Comes in 2nd to the CIFTE 6AU6 = EF94 DOUBLE-FLAG MILITARY MADE IN FRANCE IN 1963
The older RCA are hit and miss. They need to be properly tested - tube museum does a great job at that so I recommend them. Even better yet are the CIFTE 6AU6 = EF94 DOUBLE-FLAG MILITARY MADE IN FRANCE IN 1963. The CIFTE FRANCE 6AU6 Military tubes have a more refined and quiet performance, especially for use in microphones or sensitive tuners.

Best American 6CA4 = EZ81 ever made.
Classic Made in America 6CA4 rectifier, I use it in my Hand-Wired VOX AC15 and Marshall 18 watt amp, and have found it to be the most consistent and reliable rectifier I've experienced. RCA USA the BEST.
