Proper quality timepiece.
I'd heard good things about Citizen quality but being a bit of a Seiko fan boy I'd never owned one until I got a deal on this model. The quality of the case and bracelet is stunning, the dial detail is incredible. Truly another level.

Real thing looks cheaper
The string is white, not black as shown, and after only one use is showing signs of fraying where it goes into the ball. As an engineer its strength concerns me and they probably won't get used many more times, which is a shame as the actual function of the (chromed plastic) balls seems good, according to my girlfriend anyway.

My first laminated OS map
I've used OS maps for many years while spectating and competing in car rallies. The original OS range are the benchmark, in fact you're not allowed to use any other map or device. I was interested to try an 'Active' map to see if it was worth the extra cash. Well, it's an impressive thing. I'm not sure if pencil will 'take' on the surface so the jury's out on it's suitability for competing, but what a tough map. You could lie on this thing to change your oil. Heck, you could probably drain your oil onto it and it wouldn't care!
Well worth the extra few quid, especially in wind or weather.
