Great shock and splash proof digital happy snappy!!
Would thoroughly recommend this - particularly as it has now been superceded and you can get them second hand at a very reasonable price. The camera survived very well a week's snowboarding in my jacket pocket - got covered in snow many times and suffered many bumps - all when it was out of its case and it worked perfectly then and now.
I'm not technical so i won't drone on about technical details. It takes a lovely picture, nice colors and good clarity. Okay so it doesn't compare with my Nikon d2X which I dare not take out of the house - but it was about 1/60th the price so of course it doesn't - but for a happy snappy with splash and shock proof features I have no complaints. (I hasten to add that I doubt this would take a dunking - but splashes are definitely fine). When looking at cameras to buy in this price range I noted it had more optical zoom than most which is also great (digital zoom just means you get a lower quality picture). I have found the zoom to be enough holiday use anyway. The mega pixels are ample - after I am not wanting to blow my pictures up to wall size for an art exhibition. So all round highly recommended. I paid about £50 second hand in late 2009 which I think was a good price.

Pricey but great if you are short on time for washing up.
This is perfect for one person, but we find it struggles for two. We fill it twice a day with two of us but the washing up starst to pile up if we aren't carefull. That said, it has still been a godsend and it cleans the dishes as well as any other dishwasher. I chose this model because it doesn't need to be plumbed in - you fill with water using a jug from the top - and there is a hose that drains into the sink.
We did find that you have to chop the dishwasher pellets in half (we weren't able to buy powder or smaller pellets) but this is a minor inconvenience.
It is quite noisy and it beeps loudly six times when it has finished, so you can't put it on over night (at least not in my small house). But I think you are probably not supposed to run dishwasher's overnight in any case due to the fire risk.
It is very expensive however, for what it is, hence I have said that it was not good value. But if you have spare cash and no time to do the washing up, it's a worth while buy.
