Good value for what it is.
Good value for what it is. I like the adjustable rotating arm. In fact, it also could have been shorter so that it does not exceed the level of its mouth (yes, long arm is easier for applying power to tighten it, however, it is not for heavy use and you don't need too much power to tighten). It also would work with a symmetrical two-ear handle. Not a problem though. I also like two different size female thread to mount anything from an arm to a spigot.

Acceptably good
It's a no frills simple and good quality lens. Nothing too fancy or extreme. It does do the job, even in respectably low light conditions within the limit of f/1.8 aperture. It has an acceptable distortion and vignetting that can be controlled in the post. It is a nice general purpose lens for enthusists and semi-pro photographers.
