Excellent product
I live in Australia but bought one of these radios in Ireland to use while doing extreme gardening (pick and shovel, head in bushes, etc). I was so pleased with it, I bought a second one from the UK as a back up. They have a rugged design, good reception, produce good quality sound and get good value from a couple of triple-A batteries. My only complaint is that the ear buds, though OK on sound quality, don't hold in my ear so I've added them to my pile of unused earbuds. After a year, my first radio developed a crack but I can only blame myself as I carried it around in my pocket, where it's put under strain and gets a beating from walls, rocks, tools, etc. I now use a metal belt 'pocket' (leftover from old mobile phone days) which should give it sufficient protection. Improvements - add USB-rechargeable and bluetooth.
