no longer supported by Seagate for remote use
1 of 1 found this helpful This is fine for a NAS on your home network but is no longer supported by Seagate for remote access as a "personal cloud" which is specifically why I bought it. There is a third party service provider but I personally found it poorly implemented. I am attempting to resell it clearly stating that it works ok as a home network NAS to recover some of my losses. I also found it hard to find "proper" disk drives for it (Seagate ones). Standard 2.5 inch sata drives work fine however.
