The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night
A highly under-rated movie, A Hard Day's Night is one of the funniest comedies from the 1960's. Well-written and wonderfully acted by the entire cast, director Richard Lester captures a day in the life of the Beatles. A must-have for movie buffs and any fans of the Beatles and their music.

Jonny Quest - The Best Animated TV Series Ever
1 of 2 found this helpful Finally. The 26 episodes of the original Jonny Quest television series has been released in a really wonderful 4 dvd package. In it's time, it was new and original; and it's still as exciting with well-written stories today--decades later.
Kudos to Hanna-Barbera for creating this classic of television animation. There's been no animated show like it ever since. Five stars.

From Cosmos to Contact
Carl Sagan spoke of life out there and all the possibilites on his PBS series Cosmos. He then took that one step further and wrote a very human story as well for his novel Contact.
The movie is a wonderful adaption of that excellent novel. The movie, like the novel, is not only a story about life out there, but life down here--on Earth. One of the best science-fiction movies ever made. Well-written and superbly acted. FIVE STARS.
