Product has significant less life before it expirea
3 of 3 found this helpful I didn’t know that the Nest protects have a manufactured date and, abs also an expiry date. These units were already 3 years old, leaving approximate 60% usable life in them before they need manually replacing. This is not simply a case of replacing the batteries. The whole becomes unable and needs replacing as the smoke sensor is no valid operational after the expiry date. So be careful when buying sensors like this “cheap” it nah be functional and Kay appear a bargain, but nah not last as long as you could reasonably expect.
