Solid unit
Some speaker selectors allow two inputs and be able to select between the two, not this one, but I really had no need for that feature. This unit is pretty solidly made. Inspect to make sure all the connectors come with the unit being sold, they are not cheap from the manufacturer.

Non-repairable or modifiable.
Con: basically non-repairable. Amplifier/speaker way too lightweight. I wanted to hook it up to a better amplifer/speaker, but the device is pretty sealed. I basically sawed off the back and used a rubber band to hold it together.
