I like the calendars from this author. This book has the stories behind each cat that he featured in his art. I like knowing the stories behind the cats. The book is in excellent shape.

healing with herbs is "simple"

The author focused on the tradition of healing and herbs as allies and using simples and that we are all healers. Susun reminds us to love ourselves unconditionally and be comfortable saying, no. She communicates with the herbs and has passed that information on to the reader. She recommended focusing on 12 herbs and getting to know them well, but only included 7 in the book. I wish she had included 12 herbswish and had less about the tradition of healing.

Good details about herbs for the beginner.

Good book for anyone wanting to learn about using herbs for health. I did not think that I orderd the one that is spiral bound but that does make it easier to use. I like the fact that they included Traditional Chinese Medicine information about the herbs. The book has good recipes and instructions on preparing herbal treatments.
