Air filters

It has come to my attention by MANY people that service their vehicles that K&N air filters allow entirely to much dirt/dust to pass through its filter which is a DEATH WISH for an engine !!!!!! Although their MIGHT be a small performance gain in SOME vehicles it is not worth the DAMAGE that will occur to an engine !!! I am therefor going back to the factory air filter which I will have confidence in !!!!!!!!!! That filter is an ACDelco A917C !!!
