Fantastically Wide and Great Value for Money. Highly recommended.
3 of 3 found this helpful A fantastic UWA lens for Nikon DX format cameras. 10mm really is Ultra Wide, and it's hard to believe just how wide until you try one out. It really exaggerates perspective which makes a very capable landscaping and interior lens, with super deep DOF even at f4 at 10mm.
The picture quality is good, but loses a little sharpness at the edges when wide open, and due to nature of UWA's there is a little vignetting - not anything to write home about though - When using a square filter system, it is required to zoom in to 12mm to avoid having the filter holder in the frame!
Does look quite large on smaller cameras such as the d3000, however looks perfectly proportioned on my d7000.
My second sigma lens and so far I have been happy with the quality, not as good as Nikon equivalents, yet still decent quality and appropriately priced.
