Written by the same author of Goodnight Mr Tom (Michelle Magorian) this is both a poignant and uplifting novel which will appeal to teenagers and adults alike. Set at the end of WW2 as evacuees were returning from the USA to a much different post-war Britain - just having a nick-name was a problem for Rusty.....
I had read this novel before and lost my previous copy - well worth reading more than once.
