I use it to feed sunflower kernels. It has a large capacity and is easy to use. Right now the birds are eating masses of seed and it is good to see them all. We have a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers, nuthatches, collared doves and lots of Blue, Great and Coal Tits. I bought this to replace the same item which I have had for a long time and which eventually suffered breaks in the plastic tube.
