Sturdy. Practical. Space saving.
Having been given 12 strawberry runners I was looking for some way of growing them in a small space, and found this. I've already got one of their small units that I've been growing salad in for years, so I knew they had a long life expectancy. It is sturdy and well made. It was fairly easy to put together, although attaching the bars to the first frame was a bit fiddly. There is plenty of room for at least three strawberry plants in each planter, and it could easily be used for herbs, tumbler tomatoes, salad or a combination of all these. As a pensioner, it was quite an expensive outlay, but it will, hopefully, last for many years and I can't wait to be picking strawberries, free from slug damage, later in the year.

Much too tight round the ankles
They were lovely thick socks but the cuff was so tight that I struggled to get them on and they were much too tight round my ankles. I had to give them to my grandchildren

A really lovely drink
I'm caffeine intolerant so usually buy another well known brand of coffee substitute, but I decided to try this for a change- and I'm glad I did because I prefer it. It has a lovely smooth taste, can be strong or mellower depending on how much you use, and with a splash of soya 'cream' it make a wonderful mid morning treat.
