Quality Bodum cafetière mesh
Good quality genuine item. Simple to install and makes a nice tight seal in the cafetière just like new. Just be careful on first use to ensure the mesh folds around the coiled spring correctly without any kinks. It soon settles into place.

Hotpoint grill element replacement
A genuine Hotpoint spare part. Relatively easy to fit with just a screwdriver (typically Pozi #2) for two screws. The hardest part is reaching at arm’s length to pull off the connectors from the old element, they can be a bit tight. Maybe careful use of pliers is a good idea to safeguard against hurting fingers! Once the old one is removed, installation is easy and takes just minutes. Take a note of the orientation (top and bottom) of the old element to ensure the new one goes in the right way and also check the guides (left and right) engage correctly in the slots of the oven wall. It’s a very straight forward DIY job.
