A good 10gb sfp card, but difficult to work in non-HPE equipment.

If this is a 1:1 swap for an existing part in an HPE server, you'll be happy. If you want to put this in a desktop/workstation board, you have to blank/tape over pins 4 and 5 It takes forever to boot in non-HPE server gear. Perhaps a new bios will fix this... Performance is great as you'd expect, good compatibility with SFPs.

Good for Windows server and Linux. Not ESXi not win 7

No drivers for Windows 7. No drivers for ESXi 6.5. drivers exist for Windows server OSs only and Linux Mint autodetects it. If your use case is Linux or Windows server and you don't mind excessive heat, this is for you.
