A great module, with a few good options
There,s some good info on the net related to the sim900 module, so have a good search and learn as much as you can before powering the module.
Some Arduino library's may need editing, especially if your using pin 7 and 8 for rx/tx.
The module will self power on with the Arduino once you have soldered the open jumper.
My module is running great with a 12v power supply and draws very little amps when in low power mode.

Fantastic mounts
I wouldn't class these as budget mounts, not in quality anyway, but maybe in price, they are superb quality and machined to a very high spec, a fantastic buy for any scope.

DJI hits the mark, but is it aimed at you?
1 of 1 found this helpful I have built my own quads (drones) for 10 years and in that time I have never even considered a pre built, but I just fancied something small to throw in a bag and take out with me to do a little arial photography, so this Mini 2 suits the job. It's never going to do Acro mode, but it's really not made for that, it's a stable camera platform with a good flight time, and it does that job pretty well. DJI definitely hit the mark with this one, a sub 250gm drone that's aimed at flying novices, and even experienced pilots will find it useful. I've had one video blackout at less than 500m away, but I had a lot of buildings nearby and the Mini was only 50m high, a blip of the throttle for more altitude solved that. Build quality is typical DJI, so should last a while.
