A title that will greatly please anyone interested in Powder Horns
A truly great book, on a subject that does not get covered very much.
Colour photographs of excellent quality, showing the many individual
features of these historic and interesting items.
Text is not extensive, but is given in fine detail.
The only down side of this volume is the price which is rather excessive
for a slim soft backed book.

Interesting and highly readable
It covers the specific period of history extremely well. The text is clear and detailed, the artifacts illustrated
interesting and really adding flavour to the text, and Don Troiani's illustrations true works of art
as is always the case from this artist
