Good looking brushed steel oil burners!
These are great looking brushed steel finish oil burner lamps....great quality for the price. Comes with a 3 piece spike, so you can have the lamps at a height to suit you! The wick assembly is child-proof, so can't be removed by enquiring kids....or my wife come to that! We use them to burn citronella oil to keep them pesky bugs away, and they look great in the dark. All in all, very pleased with the look and quality of these lamps, and would very much recommend!

Superfish Aquavac
Bought an Aquavac to help keep my aquarium clean, and decided to buy some spare filter bags as they are quite easy to tear if not careful. Aquavac works well for weekly gravel clean-up to remove food debris etc, but spare filter bags are definitely work purchasing!

Tough tyres for urban roads and canal paths etc.
Tough tyres! The cycle route to my workplace is 'helpfully' lined with hawthorn bushes. This resulted in regular punctures and roadside repairs...not good on a cold and wet morning ride to work. However, these Schwalbe tyres seem to be tough enough to (fingers crossed as I type this) withstand b*stard hawthorn thorns and other roadside crap/pieces of metal/glass etc. The armoured inner rubber layer inside the tyres looks pretty substantial, but they are not too heavy (I am riding a hybrid/commuter style bike, not a racing type with skinny tyres) and seem to roll along nicely on tarmac/concrete without too much resistance. I have coupled them with some gunk filled inner tubes as double defence, but as I say, fingers crossed, all good so far, and recommended to anyone riding on variable terrain/gravel/glass-strewn roads in North London!
