Nokia E90 communicator - great buy
8 of 8 found this helpful I have been Communicator user for the last 8 years, starting with the 9110. My 9500 was about to break down after 3 years (the hinge, as usual) so I decided to go for the E90 that became affordable for me as its price started to drop because the E75 appeared.
I was very lucky with the device. The seller's description was exact, the device had no apparent marks of usage, it looked like brand new. Even though the E90 was released 3 years ago, its HSDPA support, its built-in GPS, its Wi-Fi VoIP support, its autofocus 3.2 MPixel camera with flash and the built-in Office-compatible suite still make it high-end device.
This is the first phone I own whose built-in camera is in the same league as my own digital camera so I started to make all my photos with the built-in camera. Fortunately, I also received an 8Gb memory card with the device (only 128 Mb is included with the device by default).
The only disappointment is the Nokia Maps application that comes with the E90. I never managed to use it. It consistently breaks the phone, only removing of the battery helps. I use the Symbian version of Google Maps instead which is a great application but needs almost constant network connection which is not always available at places where the map is most needed. It also took some time to discover that by default the network-based location method is enabled which can have the error of up to 15 km as I was surprised to discover during one of the excursions we had. As it is turned on by default, the built-in GPS is not activated that leaves the user with a hugely inaccurate position. Disabling the network-based location method solved the problem.
In short: this is a great device but look for its condition if you decide to buy. If used heavily, early E90's may be at the end of their lifetime after 3 years. Fortunately, that does not apply to my device. :-)

At last something that works in my Sony XR-C4120 car casette player
The item was as advertised, brand new. It works in my Sony car casette player even though the player ejects it time to time after some seconds of playing. But nothing else worked with this player so I am satisfied.
