Vital Colonial North Carolina history
This book is part of a great series abstracted by Margaret Hofmann of the Granville Grants of North Carolina. It is tvial if you are researching Colonial North Carolina history, especially if you are trying
to do genealogical research.

The Granville District of North Carolina 1748-1763
This book is written clearly and is concise in recording all the important information included in the land grants that are abstracted. Hofmann's books are vital to anyone searching for ancestors in the northern section of colonial North Carolina.

The title, "Dune" is perfect: the desert, and the sand and what it holds become the world you enter.
This book is the work of an absolute genius. Herbert creates an entirely-believable universe that he invites the reader to mentally enter and temporarily reside in.
This volume is leather-bound (much better than my worn-out paperback.)
