Da Vinci Code DVD
I like this film but a disappointment after reading the book. Tom Hanks was like a block of wood in this NO acting what so ever thought I guess HE though he didnt have to act since the book was a runaway success. I give this film a 7 because of Tom Hanks but I give the book 15/10 if thats possible. Just a ater thought the lighting could have been a bit better it was just too dark......

Miles Davis Pangaea
This is quite simply the ultimate album from Miles fusion period. Musically fully accomplished with at last the right line up and the right material. Spiritually significant as it was Miles last album before retirement, the last album of a troubled creative genius; he returned from retirement as a different man with a different agenda. Pangaea is indeed a work of genius, a journey, a personal private gift from Miles and the band to YOU. The only criticism is that the album does not go on long enough, it is long but not nearly enough, you will want more. Lie down, turn the lights off, chill out and enjoy! Heres the best advice I can give you: buy the Japanese Sony Mastersound pressing, SRCS9752/3 is available still at reasonble costs if you search for it, SRCS9130/1 is out there but not as good, SICP1232/3 is rare and pricey. Whatever, any Sony Mastersound edition is better than the high street Columbia CBS version. Spend the extra, you wont regret it. Enjoy!
