Panasonic GH1
3 of 4 found this helpful You can hack it so buy it. Takes great video and I mean stupendous quality in the right hands and conditions.
Don't know about photos as I didn't buy it for that but they seem ok.
Seems easy to use, screen and evf are great. Battery is ok. With an adapter you can use old 35mm lens on it and they're pretty cheap. The camera is fully manual with 35mm lenses so if you don't want to adjust it stick to stock lens but if you want to fiddle go buy one it's great.
If you hack it you can use third paty batteries which are cheaper and last longer sometimes. To hack it google gh1 hack.

Tripod Good. Fluid Head Not That Good.
I bought this as an upgrade from a super cheap tripod.
The tripod extends to 68" which is pretty high and is quite solid. The feet are a nice touch.
The head on the tripod isn't that good though. It's ok but lacks smooth movement. For £21 I'm not complaining though, for £21 it's a bargain! The head on it's own new is around £45 and is not worth it. The tripod is good though.
For price I paid I would recommend.

Some dude from 2,600 years ago writing about life in a timeless way.
It's funny that he's talking about consumerism such a long time ago. It's sad that 2,600 years later we're still in the same hole of distorted thoughts that allow clever people to mess with the stupid people.
It has some good ideas in it but no car chases.
If you like thinking about life etc you'll love it.
If you just like car chases you might not like it.
If you like car chases and thinking about life you'll love it.
