Best road atlas on the market, indispensable
Stunning maps, clear, large scale and show everything you could want to know. Beats satnav any day. Very heavy book, I have two and use one for breaking up to take the individual maps out with me, the other is kept for reference in the house. If you only buy one road atlas, get this one.

Does the job well

Reasonably up to date but binding unsuitable for thickness of book
1 of 1 found this helpful Reasonably up to date listing, but other publications do a better job at providing up to date registers. The publication has gradually got thicker over the years but the binding has not changed. This means it is virtually impossible to hold the book open without the danger of breaking the spine, especially if it is being used for its intended purpose of underlining and recording where and when seen. Attention MUST be given to improving the binding system for future editions. If it wasn't for the fact that I have bought every edition since 1964 I probably wouldn't buy this again!
