Harley transmission Assembly Knucklehead Panhead Flathead w/Jockey Shift Arm

Case great, arm good, drum so badly machined you cant pass the shifter pawls along it. Dont buy!
The case is well made piece and the bushes appear to be good stuff, the shifter arm is good too and whilst it doesnt quite look the same, would work well.
The shifter drum is another matter. Its made of some kind of soft cream cheese steel and pressed without machine finishing, the drum channels are so badly stamped that the shifter arm pawls - even worn ones (that are supposed to locate in them) will not pass along the channels. This means you either have to machine the drum (good luck - its made of really soft material) or throw it away and buy a real one (as i did). To cap it all, the seller seemed to think that it was an "adjustment" issue. Laughable!
Honestly, dont do it. You may as well either rebuid your own or find a good used one.
