Touched up by marker pen where black coating has come off
1 of 1 found this helpful The set that I received had lots of small marks where the black coating had come off, somebody had tried to cover these marks with a black marker pen, which only highlights these marks. The permanent marker ink comes off of the spanners onto my fingers when rubbed, leaving bright metal showing.

Good strong ball ,Made in Germany.
This ball is rated to take a much higher weight then other balls available for the same price, the makers described the material as "leather like" which is true. Very good price from this seller, with Superb service.

Look good -- But poor under load -- Part round holes will lead to failure.
I thought I would treat myself to this set of tools, just to use on bikes. The first use of the 4mm tool, was on a cycle work stand, trying to undo a pair of short bolts. I used the short T end of the tool but when I put some pressure on the tool I felt the hex slipping, it felt like a ratchet. So I had to resort to my old tool to loosen the Allen bolt. I have had a look at the head of the 4mm Neilsen Sliding T handle tool under magnification and I can see that the head has been deformed where the T bar runs through it. Looking at some of the other tools in the set I saw that the hole through the head piece is round in places instead of the Hex shape they should be. The tools with the round holes have not been used, that is how they have left the factory. The tools also have a cut out to locate a ball bearing inside the head unit, which also does not help to keep the T bar secure. There are 5 photos that show the faults that form part of this review.
