Great starter kit
Lots of nice colours of wool, some needles in a container and a mat. Bit puzzled as how to get needles in and out of handle but soon worked it out. Have already had a go. Needles work beautifully!

Pink, smells nice and WORKS!
It actually works! And whereas the rock crystal ones also actually work, this is easier to apply as it's liquid and you can feel where you are applying it whereas the other is rather hit and miss which I think makes a difference to how effective it is. It's weird to sweat when you're not used to that but it doesn't smell - however you have to wash your clothes that bit more often because of the sweating. Much happier with the natural alternative that not only works but is PINK and smells nice. Hallelujah!

Nzuri!
Bought this book to try a more modern textbook - I have the Peter Wilson very comprehensive Swahili book which is great but wanted to try learning from a different approach. The book is great - more 'immediately conversational' than 'simplified swahili' (by Peter Wilson) and presents things in a slightly different manner - it's a bit more up to date (being written over 20 years later) and I am enjoying the format. I use both books, although tend to refer back to Wilson for detailed grammar explanation.
