Best for practice
I love these units it is my third one (I keep giving them to my friends). It powers from USB cord directly from laptop. I use it to practice my bass, I just plug in to laptop, plug in my bass, bring up my MP3's put on the headphones and practice away. I use it to just listen to MP3's too it makes them sound better you can control volume and EQ.

Gets both VHF and UHF Compact Design
2 of 2 found this helpful This model comes with the VHF antenna not sure what model the other review had that didn't have it. The 2V includes the VHF antenna. This model works great. I get 70 channels. It is small too compared to Winegard or Channel Master. Easy install. I added the Winegard LNA-200 Boost XT Digital HDTV Preamplifier and got an extra 5 channels.
