Stopped working after 3 months
0 of 1 found this helpful This was a good dehumidifier for 3 months. It was quiet, and removed humidity effectively based on the water it collected. However, after 3 months it stopped working. I would find the unit stopped with the error code "EC" displayed. I could unplug it, and plug it back in and it would work for a few hours, but then the same thing happened. "EC" is supposed to mean that the temperature in the room is out of range. But the room temperature was actually fine. I tried plugging in to 3 different outlets and all had the same problem. I'm returning this unit.
