A good book to have within reach along with a bag of salted almonds, a bottle of water, a purring cat and Pascal's PENSEES. You read a snippet and chew on it for a bit.

Krueslings are good dolls

She's pretty, well dressed, and VERY well articulated. A really good doll for a child or an adult collector. She is small enough to be a good travel doll, articulated well enough to be a good photographic model, and big enough to sew for. I'm very impressed with this entire line of dolls. They are not about the clothes [though the clothes are very nice] but about the adventures. The fantasy adventures take place in the "Land of Dreams" and involve brave little girls who keep people from having nightmares. The one boy doll in the series has no super powers but evidently plays soccer all day and has nightmares all night. Their adventures in the waking world are the sort we want children to have such as sports, gardening, the arts, birthday parties, photography and the beach. Wonderful dolls.

I nearly wore out the library copy of this bookAs There are many toys and variations. Better yet there are ideas for developing your own patterns. Patterns and directions are clear and doable. Every few pages there's a suggestion for special uses for the toys. Stork for baby shower? Under sea mobile? Inhabitants for dollhouse? The materials are not hard to get. Some, perhaps all of these tiny toys would be best sewn by hand. But they are small and this would not take long to do.
