Good product, poor instructions.
Bought this as a complete novice to bee keeping. Product quality is ok, but needs a bit of sanding here and there to make bits fit. Instructions were poor in some instance though. Would have been better in colour as some steps difficult to follow with the B&W photos. Built it using pin nails to start with to make sure I'd done it correctly, then glue, nails and screws as appropriate to finish. Got the frame rail height wrong in the supers, so had to do them again. Also, put the roof inner rails further into the roof, a good 1" at least, not 1/2", so roof overlaps super as well as crown board. Total build time of about 4 hours going at it steadily. Have given it 3 coats of Danish Oil on the outside to protect the cedar. Suggest you buy a set of brood frames and super frames to help you see how the build is supposed to be. These don't come with ANY instructions! Overall, happy with the final hive.

Cuts only on the pull stroke making thinner branches difficult to cut. Most saws cut on the push stroke.
