From a long time fan of Paul Weller
I've been a fan of Paul Weller for 30 years now. Contrary to other Jam fans, I followed him to The Style Council and that's where I found out about Miss Dee C Lee and her wonderful voice. I bought the first two 12" singles off that album ("See The Day" & "Come Hell Or Waters High"). "See The Day" also featured a wonderful cover version of The Style Council's "The Paris Match". Unfortunately back then I was still at school, so I didn't have enough money to buy all the records I wanted. By the time I could "Shrine" was deleted. Thanks to eBay though, I can now buy those long lost gems from yesteryear. At first listen, today, it sounds a bit dated. Why? Well, I could describe it as sounding like "synth funk", or "synth soul" if you prefer. But those were the 80's, remember? And I'm glad I'm finally able to listen to "Hold On" and "Hey, What'd Ya Say", the other two singles off this album which I never had the chance to buy... All in all, thank you eBay and thank you geeceedee

The best Jam collection ever!
I bought "Snap!" when it first came out in 1983 as a double vinyl LP. When it was released on CD a few years later, for some unexplained reason it was only a single CD, entitled "Compact Snap!" with a few of the tracks missing. Therefore, this version, is not really an expanded version, but rather a restoration of the original. Plus, if you buy the 3CD version, the 3rd CD is actually the 7" EP that was included with initial copies of the vinyl album. All in all, an excellent purchase!
