An indictment of mental healthcare in America
Based on a diary found with her body, this documentary film is the story of a homeless woman with Bipolar Disorder who, after release from a New Hampshire mental treatment hospital, squatted in an empty house until she starved to death. The film is an eloquent exposition of one family’s experience with mental disorder.
