Laisdcc decoders

Brilliant both in performance and price. Got 20-30 with various pin combinations, none failed. Burnt one trying to control old Triang motor. Discovered it was consuming 1.6 amps. Moral - do stall test on old motors to determine current consumption. Just bought Digitrax DH126D which claims to be good for 1.5 amps: we'll see.

Hornby 06Pullman shunter

Smart, simple little loco using Hornby's basic 4 wheel chassis. Easy to convert to DCC. Matches my Triang Blue and grey Pullman (sort of). Got a pair to run in consist. Big mis- match in speed for some unknown reason, but soon fixed with CV tuning.
