  The item is unusable, the crank handle to raise and lower the centre column was broken off and missing. There was no quick release plate meaning neither a camera or anything else could be attached to the tripod, a complete waste of money. When I contacted the seller to raise the issue about the missing/broken crank handle, they more or less called me a liar.
