Very happy with it.
2 of 2 found this helpful Would recommend anyone buying this to get 2 extra ice cream tubs (for water/rinsing) and 3 paint brushes to agitate/coat the item in each stage (especially if larger item and won’t fit in tub). Also recommend 2 clean rags to gently pat dry after each rinse stage. Again ‘also’ ....don’t forget gloves as it does make your skin itch a bit and recommend you try to do it in a ventilated area as the fumes give you a headache.
Next I would like to buy a larger quantity as I want to change the colour of a full suit of 15th century armour and 1 liter is just not enough.
Overall very happy with how it turned out, have before and after photos of my test pieces if anyone is interested (one pieces looks darker than the other this is because I tried two different techniques, the lighter one I submerged in the liquid and gave the tub a bit of a shake now n again, the darker one I kept on a flat surface and painted repeatedly the blackening mixture over it)
