Rotel vs B&K
1 of 2 found this helpful The Rotel rb-990bx sounds clearer and less strained than the b&k ex-440. Though both are rated at 200 wpc, the rotel some how sounds as if it has more power. But the rotel has a bent back, as if someone rested it on it's back. No other damage was seen. Excepting that if you put your ear close to the midrange, there is a faint buzz, a common characteristic of older power amps, my audio tech friend says. Nothing to worry about. Still, I'm happy with my purchase.

Works as advertized. Firm,positive connections
These Monster balanced interconnect cables render my stereo
system sound noticably clearer, cleaner, with a vastly expanded
sound stage. I would recomend balanced cables over RCA'S
any day. These Monsters are made to last a lifetime, shielded
well enough to prevent any noise from entering the signal path
anywhere along the length of the cable.I'm glad that I invested
In these cables. They are a necessary addition to any balanced
system.

The filter and sequencer are excellent. Great noise reduction. Great control unit for my stereo system.
