A bit dated.
Typical American movie of the day, full of sexual connotations, hard drinking, hard driving, lots of boring slapstick, a few fights, of which Jacki Chan is the best! Takes a while working through the characters before the race begins. Dean Martin looked ill in the first part, better in the second. Frank Sinatra wandered through it, in his usual manner. Roger Moore was obviously told to overplay his part. I wondered why I never bothered to see it when it first came out. Now I know! The driving scenes are fun and will hold interest, but that’s about all. It’s now reached its use-by-date.

Very handy and easy to carry
The Vanguard Veo 2S AM-264 TR aluminium monopod is bit longer than I would like, but easy to carry. Even better to place on the ground when not using, because of the sturdy feet. I don’t have to lie it on the ground. I use an Olympus camera and had a 40-150mm zoom+MC14 attached, and the monopod was stable. It may not be stable enough for a heavier camera with large zoom, but the pole‘s circumference is wider than my tripod. My small hand does fit around it. Also handy to use as a walking pole! I am finding it very handy for my work when I don‘t want, or need to take a tripod with me.

Wonderful to be able to watch this series again! James Bond, west your heart out! This is just as good.
