An ordinary woman nurses all over the world in warzones.
A fascinating story of an ordinary girl from Wales who wanted to be a nurse and to travel. She had a difficult childhood with an unpleasant stepmother but came through that determined to lead the life she wanted.
She worked in Vietnam during the war there and in many other places over her career, such as refugee camps. I bought the book because I heard she had been a very interesting speaker at a large WI meeting last year. She's now coming to speak to our group early next year and having read the book I'm pleased we booked her. My husband is currently immersed in the book and says he "can't put it down."

Pinking Blade for Olfa rotary cutter
An excellent piece of kit. Much easier than using pinking shears when you want that pinked edge. Easy to insert into the Olfa cutter and as easy to use as a plain blade. A real time saver compared with scissors.
