Sparkling clean glass kettle & glassware!
2 of 2 found this helpful Our water has high levels of lime which ruins electric kettles so we bought a glass one so we could see when it needs cleaning & I also bought a new pack of Citric acid! So - when the scale becomes visible on the side of the glass fill it to just above the limescale line, boil and then add a heaped teaspoon of citric acid for each cup of water, then leave for about 15 minutes - & the scale should be gone! If the kettle hasn't been cleaned for a long time you may need to repeat several times - when clean, rinse the kettle well, fill to your normal level, boil and empty!
Citric acid is ideal for putting the sparkle back on all your glass and ceramic - half fill your washing bowl with hand-hot water, add a half cup of citric acid and wash you clean but dull glassware etc, using a clean cloth, rinse in clean hot water and set aside to air-dry! I gave used citric acid for cleaning since I washed up and cleaned with my Gran - now more than a half-century ago - and it's not let me down yet!

Ideal for purpose!
2 of 2 found this helpful My husband has a lot of mini multi-tools, penknives etc plus other small collectables which always seemed to have 'gone missing'! I bought these for him to store them all in and they are perfect! Small enough to stand on Hus chest of drawers but with loads of space for his collections and the extras which will inevitably come along! Would also be great for storing small tools, kitchen storage etc. Well made and classic, somewhat retro looking - and very good value!
