BMW Z4 fitted with three A tyres
1 of 1 found this helpful As an ex tyre fitter I wanted something that would be safe and keen on price, I don't bother with runflats they make the car handle awful. Now for under £200 delivered for 4 tyres you can bet I was happy on price, I read a few reviews on these and took the plunge, what can I say, there bloody great, quiet and got rid (well almost) of the front end tram lining, they have a slight kerbing band which helps keep the rims a little safer too, no idea on wear yet but great grip, the only niggle is they are a little soft and you notice a bit of roll when pushing harder than normal through the twisty bits which I did read on another review, they also balanced up really easy only needing 5-10 grams of weight which for a budget tyre was amazing, if your looking for a decent tyre for the £50 mark I seriously doubt you'll find Better !!

Omp ! Roll cage weld in eye
Well it's supposed to fit 40mm / 50mm tube ?? Does it bol@@@@.... I wanted it for 40mm, thinking I may have to turn it down from 50mm maybe... rattles around in my 42mm o/d 38ish mm i/d tube, there's just enough flange to run a decent weld round the widest point but it would drop straight through a 50mm tube. All I can say is the people who made it come from a different solar system! And I'm not even sure if it'll weld yet as it's cast and not made from one piece billet....I was toying with a similar fitting that you use for a hand rail which goes over the tube and locks in place with a grub screw, save ya.money and fit a weld in saddle
