Great adventure book.

My husband and I have hiked on Skye! We could appreciate the beauty but also the difficulties of this kind of trip. I enjoy his sense of humor as well as sense of history. Both the author,Hogg’s grandson,hiking the same route taken by his grandfather in 1803, and James Hogg were capable of presenting this trip well for a modern reader. I have also read James Hogg’s version of this trip.
