A memoir by a great American piano icon.
A memoir by an great American piano icon. Leon Fleischer recounts his entire career from early days through his relationship with George Szell (funny anecdotes) and his struggle after losing the use of his right hand. Very moving. Fleischer became a champion of left-hand repertoire as well as being a conductor. Eventually he regained use of his right hand on a more limited basis.
Compelling reading and highly recommended.

Easy CD Protection When Using Cardboard CD Jackets in Box Set Collections
These hard-to-find CD sleeves are perfect for CDs and multi-CD collections which do not use a jewel case. For CD packaging which uses cardboard jackets, the Diskeeper sleeves protect the CD from abrasion when removing it from the jacket.
The sleeve is slightly over size and extends beyond the cardboard jacket allowing for easy removal. I am adding Diskeeper sleeves to all my classical box sets.
These are perfect and highly recommended.
