Excellent for the Money

I couldn't decide whether to go for 4 stars as there are obviously better boots out there, or 5 because those better boots don't retail at under 25 quid. As you can see I went with 5 as I think most people recognise the 'for the price' element of reviews. I bought these as knocking around in boots but them came quickly enough that I was able to try them out in time for a trip to the Cotswolds. I'm not sure I'd go with them for proper hiking but, I'm not a proper walker, and they coped very well with a few miles through damp grass and muddy paths. The padding is somewhat sparse (as I noticed on the walk that turned out at nearly 10 miles because I got lost) but the internal finish is good so they didn't rub at all. Overall I'm very pleased with them.

Good Product - Probably

The problem with Carbon Monoxide detectors is that you very rarely have anything for them to detect. However this feels reassuringly well put together and responded promptly to me waving an incense stick in front of it - which is a good sign.

Good Towel

I bought this for drying my Labrador when I lost his old microfibre towel. They're possibly just too big to shove into a bag and walk around with (which is what I did with his old towel) but perfect for the car or home since they are big enough to wrap him up while he attempts to share his watery goodness - as they say nothing is as friendly as a wet dog. As you's expect from a microfibre towel they soak up a lot a water and dry pretty fast..
