Decent strings at a very low price
These strings are the best I've found so far at low price. They aren't D'Addarios or Ernie Balls, but they are perfectly adequate. They require a lot of stretching in to give their best, and benefit from being allowed to adjust overnight, but once this is done they hold tune well, their tone is good and they seem balanced in volume across the set.
They are ideal for lower cost instruments, and for those occasions when you need a cheap set for set-up purposes. Players on a budget who still want to change strings frequently will appreciate the low cost. In my experience, strings cheaper than this are not worth the money.

Sturdy, stable and inexpensive
There are many cheap soldering iron stands. This has a cast iron base, which is more stable than a plastic base. Cheap enough to be affordable, but sturdy enough to last many years.
