Great entertainment - Blade
I originally bought this on VHS and have been looking to replace with DVD for some time. I love this film for all the wrong reasons. Yes, its not the greatest film ever made, the storyline is not Shakespeare and there is some very ham acting but it is great fun! The special effects are good, the fight scenes great and there are some really good one liners that you might not catch until the second or third viewing. Great entertainment and I never tire of watching it and you cannot say that about many films.

Watch out for the Gaitor Baby!
1 of 1 found this helpful Those of you stuck in the 80s will love this film. I had forgotten how much I liked it and have introduced my 80s loving 15 year old daughter to it. Yes it's a bit dated but who cares ; the characters are interesting and it's a sexy film in an old fashioned way. Thoroughly good fun.

Fright Night for beginners
If you want "fun" horror this is the film for you. I had it when it first came out on VHS and over the years have been looking to get the DVD. When I found it on e-Bay I bought it.
This was one of the first horror films I watched. It is tame by today's standards but it does have a story (not all slice and dice), the relationships between the characters are great and it is also quite funny. I have to admit to having a thing about Chris Sarandon as the vampire as well, although that attraction is fading as I get older. Another one of those films you can watch again and again and enjoy. Go and try it, you will be surprised.
