Good buy
I was worried, seemed too cheap, but was pleasantly surprised. The machine and attachments are good quality, only the cheap weld mask lets the kit down, but this serious kit needs a proper welding mask anyway. And don’t forget this doesn’t include your tungstens, argon, gas regulator, and some 10mm tubing.
This will work on low settings plugged into a 13A socket, but high settings and you’ll need to connect to 32A supply.
Overall really pleased, one of my better buys.

Good but not quite 'what's marked on the tin'
12 of 12 found this helpful For what it is and the cost it's really good and works well. But as an electronics engineer I set out to do a few tests of my own.
Run at near full load this unit is quiet but does cream the power from the 12Volt battery, it consumes nearly 150Amps at the 1500W rating.
The first thing to note was that the actual output voltage measurements didn't quite tie up with what was stated on the readout display. It's quoted as a UK 240V output but in fact even though the display showed 240V the actual output was 226V with no load, and dropped to 212V with a 1.2KW load. This lower voltage should work most appliances fine as still almost within normal tolerance for UK mains voltage (216V to 253V). I can only assume they make these units for the whole EU market and just adjust what is says on the display to 220/230/240 rather than the actual output voltage.
Even though it is not quite 'what's marked on the tin' I still think it's good value. I would buy another.
