Impressive flow rate
Having had just 18 months life out of a cheapy thermostatic mixer shower with overhead rain I needed to replace it. Fed by a combination boiler the flow is epic. So much so I have restricted the hand held head by using a narrow bore flexible pipe. I imagine on a gravity system this will work great. Well made and solid. Was easy swap over with 150mm pipe centres. Only observations against it are the water flow isn't variable, simply on from rain head- off - on hand held so if you have good pressure and a combination boiler expect a rousing wake up shower.

Disappointing
I purchased this expecting it to provide reduction to fan speeds. It didn't work simply leaving the fan humming until the control was at about 90% then it was just a minimal reduction in speed to full on. Giveaway is the sticker on the back calling it a dimmer switch. It's clearly not designed for anything other than conventional type lighting. It would perhaps work with a brush type conventional motor bit certainly not brushless induction(?) motors that most fans are made with.

Lovely quiet and efficient machine
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought as a replacement for a 10 yr old Bosch, I was amazed at how quiet the machine is, (admittedly the bearings were going in my old one as it sounded like a 747 taking off when spinning!)
It looks smart, the controls are familiar if you have had a Bosch before, all the settings can be varied, speed, temp, water use, choice of eco or speed, delay timer etc.
As long as the water is below the glass door you can pause , open and throw in an extra item mid wash.
Back to the quietness, when it washes, you hear virtually no motor noise, just the sloshing of the clothes in the water, when it spins, there is just a hum/whine that is really not intrusive.
Clothes come out well spun (up to 1400)
I saw a review where someone obviously hadn't read the manual and complained of the combines rinse/drain/spin setting, if you just want a drain, turn off speed and aqua, if you just want a spin, turn off aqua, leaving as is for a full rinse.
Overall really impressed.
The current price norm at time of writing is £350 and I would happily pay that but more discounts can be had for shopping around or waiting for relevant eBay deals!
